Hot foothill trail to a series of small cascades.
Spring wildflowers and oak woodland lead to Marble Falls, best hiked in cooler seasons due to heat exposure.
Sequoia National Park in California protects dramatic Sierra Nevada landscapes: giant sequoia groves in the Giant Forest, steep foothill canyons, granite domes like Moro Rock, deep river valleys and high alpine basins reaching toward Mount Whitney. Together with Kings Canyon it offers hundreds of miles of trails, seasonal snow, and one of the most impressive vertical elevation ranges of any park in the United States.
